Get all the protesters to sign a petition and when the time comes for their kids to get health care and better schools they can explain to the public why they should get any of those privileges when they don't want to pay for them. Back when the right wing PP lost the last Spanish election, and they tried to dispute the new government's legitimation, their friendly media started shamelessly inflating the attendaces to their rallys; which was counteracted by some enterprising nerds at http://manifestometro.blogspot.com/ with satellite images and on-site video and pictures, with projected and acurate real attendance.
The mockings became so loud the wingnuts stopped to try to organize massive demos altogether.
Maybe some enterprising american nerds could set up something similar to avoid any possible Fox manipulation?

i've been to a few protest in DC and seen a couple on TV and have always been annoyed that parents bring their kids regardless of being left or right.
The only place I see more coverage of Fox News, O Reliley, Glenn Beck and tea baggers than on liberal sites like C&L and Think Progress is on Faux news itself! Just count the number of stories here devoted to these blowhards on this website.
I share the view that Bill O, Beck and the rest of them are crazy, and that they harm my country. These people are entertainers, not news people. I just don't understand why we spend so much time playing their game. When we make a stink about their nuttiness people go and check them out. And people who know something is wrong with the country but don't have a lot of accurate information at their disposal are in danger of being swayed by their simplistic arguments.
When the antiwar and anti Bush protests were going on, for the most part they ignored us and too many people never even knew they were going on. We should do the same to them.

I thought originally the FCC and such was around to prevent things like this from happening. Yes, I am aware it doesn't cover cable, but don't you all think some rule changes need to be made now? Not stifling free speech, but preventing a sole propaganda outlet, that disguises itself as "fair and balanced" news. I mean, years and years ago, could you see ABC, NBC and CBS getting away with this?
