I voted for ya. But the guy in first place, he sent me a 'vote for me' email, and I have no freaking idea where he got the addy. Plus he knows my real fucking name. Totally creepy.

Dear xxxxxxxx,

Health care reform is a mess. A modest banking reform bill passed the House a few days ago, and now goes to the Senate. A climate change bill is stuck in the mud while negotiators talk in Copenhagen. Immigration reform just got introduced. The Afghanistan war continues its steady escalation.

There's a lot going on in the week before the holiday break. But I have something completely different for you to consider. You could argue that this topic is completely is completely trivial compared to all the issues I mentioned above. Well, okay, you'd be right. But even as all of us fight hard for the things that really matter, let me just ask one quick and easy favor of you just the same.

Vote for me.

As you may have read about and/or heard about, I am in the finals for the Air America contest for top blogger. You may remember that I sent you a letter a couple of weeks back, when it looked like I had a chance to make the finals. Well, because of your help, I actually did. The contest is now in full swing, drawing to a close on Thursday, and I hope you will again consider giving me your vote.

I tried to vote (for Digby) but it said I already voted. I don't remember this. Maybe miss_kitty's guy hijacked the election just like Bush did????

I voted for Digby, I read her stuff daily...right after This blog and Huffington Post. I agree with the previous post that all five finalists should be on the cruise and write up their discussions and offer podcasts of same.
