Quit pretending to be anything more than a stooge owned by the corporatists Harry. It's quite obvious that you, and Nancy Pelosi are nothing more than Republicans wearing a D.

Know the invitations you're getting before they're sent through the media.

curtilingus's picture

This one is pretty sick and I don't think you will hear the media reporting on it because it is what they do.

http://politics.theatlantic.com/2009/07/on_th...

"Bring your organization's CEO or executive director literally to the table," reads a flier. The dinners are to be hosted at the home of Post CEO and Publisher Katharine Weymouth; the topic of the first one, advertised int the flier, is health care.

To summarize, the editor of the Washington Post sent out a flier inviting people to pay 25K for access to administration officials to help influence health care policy.

Abbybwood's picture

We could have gotten an invite then raised a dollar each from 25,000 people in a "money bomb", appointed somebody like....oh, how about Mike Finnigan to show up and state our case and get in everybody's face!!!

Hidden camera and all that? Uploaded to YouTube for all the world to see/hear?!

Oh well, maybe next time.

That would have been a fun party to crash.

is saying she's "open to a reconciliation"...in spite of the fact that her jerk husband has declared that his Argentine paramour is his "SOUL MATE"!!!

Good God woman! Go get some counseling from an honest to goodness psychotherapist who isn't a freakin' Bible Belt "women should keep their place" person!!!

If she "forgives" him for this and all the other "slips" there will only be one of three conclusions to be drawn: 1.) She thinks she still has a chance of becoming "First Lady" of the land, 2.) She is buying the Promise "Breakers" bullshit by "forgiving" him or 3.) She has zero self-esteem.

Let him have his freakin' "soul mate"! Get a divorce!

Mag7's picture

But I say Jennifer Sanford has more class in one finger than her amour-challenged hubby. Don't just give him a divorce, give him a ticket to Buenos Aires. buh-bye

Abbybwood's picture

and if I found myself in the same boat I would divorce his ass quicker than you could say, "I really love your tan lines," BECAUSE of my sons.

Once they grow up (with customary visitation) they will understand that marriage is sacred and when vows are broken the marriage is O-V-E-R.

Life is short and I believe both men and women deserve to have a chance at TRUE happiness. A sham marriage is felt by even little ones. And conversely a marriage steeped in real love is also felt by little ones.

I don't know about you Mag7, but IF I was married and in the same situation as Jennifer Sanford, I wouldn't be able to stand the thought of him ever touching me again....ever.

Kids or no kids.

Now you see the appeal of the christian lifestyle - to cheating white men.

as re: marriage vows.

Divorce for the sake of the kids. Staying together, ostensibly 'for the sake of the kids' just fucks up the kids, who are well on their way there with a dad like that anyway.

Any other decision when you are speaking of a serial cheat is selfish and/or ill-informed.

Mental Health facilities, which is an endless cycle. She'll get her wings when she magically survives death and then flies up to heaven, laughing at all the divorced wives burning in hell.

Tax the Rich's picture

I can't believe I am about to say this; but if I lived in Nevada, I would very seriously consider voting for a republican (gag, hack, vomit), just to get Harry Reids worthless ass out of the leadership posistion.

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind, that someone like Durbin could get a lot more done with 56 votes, than Reid could with 66 votes!

Harry Reid is like the general who could take an army of 100,000 hard core soldiers into battle, and retreat and be routed by an army of 25,000.

Rush Limbaugh is what a smart person thinks a stupid bigot sounds like.

worst guest ever. He even had trouble answering questions about his book which was about his own life. He should be removed as he clearly has a brain slug.

does anyone know how to keep squirrels out of a bird feeder?

I tried the fake plastic owl that hoots. They just knock it to the ground and ignore it. I tried the little packs of human hair and brown bear piss. They ignore that too.

I run out and yell at them and clap my hands and yell and they just stare at me. Just now one of them chased me back into the house!!

Help!!

This feeder of yours, how is it mounted?
On the trunk, hangin from a branch, free standing?

pissed off patricia's picture

If your feeders are on something like a pole, spray the pole all over with Pam cooking spray. They try to climb up but they just slide down, plus the stuff won't harm them.

There are also squirrel poof feeders and they do work.

I just let the little critters eat their fill and add more for the birds.

Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.

had a bird feeder hangin from a branch, and he tried close to a dozen different tricks, and products before he finally
found what worked...a simple, clear plastic cone that goes right over the top of the feeder, and the squirrels caused weeks of amusment for my folks from their antics trying to get past the cone.
The squirrels, however, were not amused. They raised hell at my folks...

And punch any shit talkin repugs in the face you meet.

Abbybwood's picture

I love all you guys/gals!

These squirrels here in The Berkshires are BOLD.

First I have an ordinary feeder (without the squirrel proof cage) hanging about seven feet off the ground. There happens to be a Rose of Sharon bush next to it. The little f'ers actually SCALE THE BEAM and jump on it or climb the bush and jump to it.

The other feeder was a dumb idea. I bought one of those stupid Chinese feeders from the Sunday magazine. I had to assemble it etc. There's a planter with a marigold on the bottom then there's a feeding tray, a water tray, some hooks for suet and a cool solar light on top. I mounted the whole she-bang (it's only 3 ft. tall) on some bricks with wire so I could view the action from the sunroom.

They JUMP up to which ever dish they want. No amount of lube is going to deter them.

I was so excited when I set it up. I called it "The Ritz Carlton" for birds. Now it's the squat house for the local furry rats in the hood.

I wonder if BB guns are legal in Mass.?? Kidding.

Kathleen Hayes is a Stanford trained economist and Bloomberg staff foot soldier. They have a number of good people, Betty Liu and Margaret Popper are others, who are very smart and on occasion ask good questions, but they are all foot soldiers in Caesar's army.

The standard outlook is to NOT talk the 'Market' down too much.

I am not an economist but I have been attempting to learn everything I can.

This is what I know now, we have made a colossal mistake in our economic, social and political development.

Thinking that growth could be exponential was the error.

We now must undertake a massive conservation of resources. This will mean a depression in conventional economic terms. Had we listened to Jimmy Carter in 1977 this might have been averted.

The super bubble economy is crashing because of the colossal government malfeasance and Bankster fraud which has spilled over into the rest of the 'economy'. We cry how bad things are already, as a result.

And yet, in conventional economic terms and mindset, we need to have things much much WORSE voluntarily or face oblivion.

We have peak humanity. We have peak life on earth.

Karl Marx understood the flow of history in terms of the future development of capitalism from his early vantage point. But, he had little basis to understand what would happen in terms of the ecology.

In economic terms for ecological results, we should STOP doing ninety per cent of what we are doing, that would be one WRECKED stock market. From the standard economic view, that would be one wrecked economy.

We need a new paradigm of communal thought for our and every other living things continuance on this earth.

The alternative is much, much worse.

There is no political leadership that I can see. The government malfeasance continues unabated, they are putting the lead foot back on the 'gas' pedal, they will try to re-inflate the super bubble of this cancer like economy of ours and drive us over the cliff of history.

Whoever survives this catastrophe will witness a new feudal era. A few super oligarchs will command what energy resources are left and the remainder of humanity and other living things, the few that remain, will tremble in the mud.

It is not that far off. A few years.

Goldman positions itself in the middle of a speculative bubble, selling investments they know are crap. Then they hoover up vast sums from the middle and lower floors of society with the aid of a crippled and corrupt state that allows it to rewrite the rules in exchange for the relative pennies the bank throws at political patronage. Finally, when it all goes bust, leaving millions of ordinary citizens broke and starving, they begin the entire process over again, riding in to rescue us all by lending us back our own money at interest, selling themselves as men above greed, just a bunch of really smart guys keeping the wheels greased. They've been pulling this same stunt over and over since the 1920s — and now they're preparing to do it again, creating what may be the biggest and most audacious bubble yet.

Abbybwood's picture

But we don't need no freakin' investigation of all these machinations now do we???

Nor do we need any ol' "audits" of The Federal Reserve. (Especially since Bernanke warned us that if that legislation were to pass it would equal a "TAKEOVER" of The Fed by Congress):

Yes, I read that one and it is so, so, so, sad because we also have Goldman people Geither, Summers, Paulson, PUKIE left-overs from King Geo. still 'working' in this mis-administration, this O-bought-ma, 'change we believe in' crowd. US is totally f**ked financially. No one dare call these $$$$$ people, these Goldman people ZIONIST Empire builders

does Goldman Sachs support Zionism? Do you have any facts to back up your assertion, or is this just your code phrase for "the evil Jews are taking over the world"?

Thank you for the link, I am glad to finally have a text version of the Taibbi piece, although I don't know if it is complete.
