Seriously, what is wrong with Texas? Were it not for some of my favorite commentators here at crooks and liars, I would suggest we auction off that state.
Oh, and another thing. Is there any way to force a member of the House of Reps to take a sanity test. I truly believe Michelle Bachmann has lost her mind. Of course I first thougth that when she went nuts trying to hug bush after one of his speeches but this last bit about the "sex clinics" in schools is way over the top. She needs help.
Lobotomies aren't reversible....Michelle "Blood on her hands" Bachmann is a lost cause... There's no gray matter up there...its just K-Street/C-Street money stuffed under a mattress...
We should all become right wingnut con-servative politicians....
Get mindless voters to continually vote against their own best interests by appealing their 'senses' to the lowest common denominator talking points...while making piles of corporate cash in the process and a cushy dividend earning job when we leave the 'public sector'...
Its makes taking candy from a baby look easy...
And if you figure many of Russia and China's inmate population is made up of political prisoners their stats would be much lower in comparison.
I wonder if Amerikka's statistics are higher because in many cases the prison systems are being run for profit. Can't make a profit without inmates, soooooooooooo??? And I don't think these stats will decrease, look what happened when big Pharma and Ins were given the reins to the health care system; they were not there to provide health care, it was all about profit.
I heard some judge was railroading juveniles into a "for profit" facility for a kickback.
Everybody makes money!
The SOB's
There's a reason they designate bussinesses "for profit" and "non-profit". Most businesses, no matter what they produce or sell, are in it for the money. Banks, Pharma and insurance companies are not in it to be good citizens, they are in it for the bucks. Everyone else has to look after themselves the best they can.
Send me a PM if you don't want me to put this in your roundup... Thanks.
We are SO going to drink John Boehner's milk shake.

THE TRUTH: Democrats couldn’t get laid in a house whose sole purpose is for free sex with legislators on finance committees
- http://politicalirony.com/2009/10/01/democrat...
Jon Stewart tells it like it is. With 65% of Americans supporting the public option, 70% of doctors supporting it, even a plurality of Republicans supporting it, the President supporting it, and holding a super-majority in Congress, the Democrats are still doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Its either BY DESIGN (ie - Corporatocracy wins again) or the Dems in the Senate have that 'boys club' mentality hard wired to their brains that they can't see 2 feet in front of them....

My new favorite representative: Grayson: Republicans Are 'Foot-Dragging, Knuckle-Dragging Neanderthals' - http://tpmlivewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009...
Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) -- who's making quite a name for himself by accusing the GOP of having a health care plan premised on the idea that sick Americans should "die quickly" -- just made a pretty fiery appearance on CNN.
He called Republicans "foot-dragging, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals who think they can dictate policy to America by being stubborn." He said that he's "saying what everyone else has been thinking but no one else has been saying." And he once again refused to apologize, saying it's Republicans who should say sorry.
The truth makes a comeback in the House!!!!

Oh...and con-servatives & 'religious righties' trying to 'capitalize' on his 'holocaust' remark....you have been using that term to describe legal abortions in this country for over 3 decades...STFU...
BACKBONE, FINALLY! Nancy Pelosi Backs Grayson: "Apparently Republicans hold Democrats to a higher standard than they hold members of their own party. … There’s no reason for Mr. Grayson to apologize. If anyone should apologize, everyone should apologize."

Isn't it amazing that con-servatives always get 'angered' when the truth is spoken....because the truth hurts...it hurts those who don't practice using it...

I find it hysterical that the con-servatives & republicans are up in arms about this....consider that George W Bush spent more than a THIRD OF HIS PRESIDENCY 1020 DAYS ON VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!
487 Days at Camp David, 490 Days at Crawford Ranch, and 43 Days at the Bushevik Kennebunkport Compound.... (jonox.livejournal.com/25625.html) so... con-servatives & republicans...I only have one thing to say to you... STFU!!!!
At least Obama will be generating hundreds of millions of tourism dollars for this country by doing this.... How much money did GWBush make for this country by bringing in International revenue???? And no, you can't count the illegal war in Iraq or the one in Pipeline-astan....
Pawlenty Hires Sara Taylor, Ex-Rove Aide And Featured Player In U.S. Attorney Scandal - http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/10/pa...
A very interesting name pops up on the management and strategy team for Gov. Tim Pawlenty's (R-MN) new political action committee, which is widely seen as a preliminary step for a presidential campaign: Sara Taylor, a former top aide to Karl Rove, who resigned her position during the U.S. Attorney scandal.
Her single most famous moment was when Sen. Pat Leahy (D-VT) caught Taylor saying she made an oath to the President -- as opposed to saying she made an oath to the Constitution.

People have bellybuttons, can give blood and suffer infirmity.
When any other entity can do all three they could be a person. Miss one and they are not a person.
Why would a corp have free speech ($$ or words) when they clearly speak for many? (Shareholders, board members and employees)
Texas Governor Rick Perry's 72 year old cousin was shot by deputies at his home in Montague County west of Ft. Worth. When the news and connection came out yesterday the Governor was asked about it. In an effort to distance himself from this relative the Governor said "I'm not sure I would pick him out of a lineup." Got some experience with that sort of thing in your family, Gov?
