Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the latest in GOP talking points trying to take the conversation off what health care reform really means to Americans:

MCCONNELL: Well, look. I think attacking citizens in our country for expressing their opinions about an issue of this magnitude may indicate some weakness in their position on the merits.

That makes sense. If you are troubled by being likened to Nazis, being shouted down and mobbed by people bussed in to be disruptive or having you or your staffers threatened, then it's your position that's weak.

Really? Um, how about if you're so scared of honest facts (as opposed to scare tactics about euthanasia) that you need to shut down discussion, maybe it's your position that's weak? Of course, there was no discussion of weakness of merits when Bush required loyalty oaths during his Social Security-palooza tour. Consistency, the GOP rarely knows ye.

And let it not go unmentioned that Wallace focuses solely on the Democrats calling these mobs "Nazi-like" without acknowledging the full blown mob materials in all its Godwin-esque glory (link goes to LGF). What was that about the liberal media again?

Transcripts below the fold:

WALLACE: OK. Let’s talk -- you brought up the town halls. As we all know, Democratic members of Congress have gone back to their districts. They’re meeting with their constituents, and there have been some very loud and angry town halls.

Democrats say -- some of these have been quite loud and quite angry, the complaints about the plan. Democrats say that conservative organizers are employing mob-style tactics and even Nazi-style tactics. Your reaction, sir?

MCCONNELL: Well, look. I think attacking citizens in our country for expressing their opinions about an issue of this magnitude may indicate some weakness in their position on the merits.

And I also think it’s particularly absurd for the Democrats, who have over an $8 million e-mail list over at the DNC called Organize America, to be criticizing citizens for being organized.

Frankly, the truth of the matter is we don’t know who’s organized and who isn’t. The point is the issue, the substance. They need to deal with it. Americans are concerned about it.

I suspect that a lot of these people, Chris, who are coming to these meetings are elderly people who are concerned about half-a- trillion-dollar cut in Medicare to pay -- not to make Medicare sustainable, but to start a new program for other citizens.

WALLACE: Let me show you -- and let’s put up on the screen -- some of these town hall meetings, because they’ve been pretty impassioned.

Have -- from what you’ve seen -- and you haven’t had any yet, but you -- you’ve certainly watched them on TV. Have some of the protesters gone over the line? And when you read that some organizers give people instructions -- pack the hall, stand up and shout, rattle the members of Congress. Should they back off?

MCCONNELL: Look, I don’t think either side ought to be trying to engage in disrupting meetings, either the Democratic side or the Republican side. We ought to focus on the issue.

And to demonize citizens who are -- you know, who are energetic about this strikes me as demonstrating a kind of weakness in your position -- in other words, you want to -- you want to change the subject, and rather than talk about the half a trillion dollar in Medicare cuts, let’s talk about somebody at some town meeting who misbehaved. It strikes me that’s missing the point.

WALLACE: Well, I’m going to ask you one more question on that subject. What do you think of the White House asking its supporters to forward any e-mails or any claims they get that they think are, quote, “fishy” to the White House?

MCCONNELL: Well, it strikes me as the potential compilation of a -- of a list of people that you don’t like. It’s reminiscent of previous administrations.

I think -- look. We need to stop all of this effort and concentrate on the substance. This is an enormously important subject. Of course American citizens are concerned about it. And many of them are upset about it.

It’s not just the town hall meetings, Chris. All the public polls indicate that support for what the administration is trying to do on health care is declining.

Again, Obama needs to get out in front of this stuff and debunk the bullshit.

Indeed. Saw an article by Frank Rich on how we might be being "punked". With Obama giving up drug price negotiations, I'm beginning to wonder.
While the media covers the brain-dead at the town halls, we sit back and think we're so damn smart. Yes, we have all the facts, but it has always counted for little on the glass teat. Well, we can be rocket scientists but if Obama isn't willing to play hard I am afraid we just might be doomed.

If Obama isn't willing to play hard I am afraid we just might be doomed. No we come down on him just like we would on anybody. We call him out and force him to change because if we don't vote for him he will not be reelected. We may not vote for a Republican but may may not vote at all which is almost as bad. When he screws up we must let him know.

Don't leave everything to Obama.
Call your Rep and Senators. They do track the calls.
Obama shouldn't be out there on his own; those legislative phones need to be getting a ton of calls over the recess -- from polite, informed citizens letting them know we are watching.

FWIW, I sent my Rep a compliment (he deserved it, too).
In response, I received a marvelous message.
I suspect the next time that I contact them with a pleasant voice and good info, they'll remember who I am.

Enjoy the hell out of this health care fight.
I am.
And I waited over 20 years to see it.

McConnell's dog whistling is just more GOP stupidity.
It won't sustain a party over time.
Let him blather; he's only hurting his own cause -- people can see through his bullshit if they see it long enough.

Now or never in our lifetimes, and probably just plain never.

I agree, Obama can lead but if ordinary people just sit back and do nothing that's what you'll end up with, nothing.
It onlt takes a couple of minutes to send emails to the people in congress.

or use the toll free 1.800.828.0498 or 1866.220.0044.

But get active...It is our fight not just Obamas'...Boycott the products that the MSM uses in Ads..call the msm --tell them we want the truth---not repub and corp lies..The HCI lobbyists are pouring $1.4 million A DAY into the congressional coffers to stop ANY regulation!

Stop them NOW!

Said that the members of the HELP committee had 40+ Democratic amendments to the bill and republicans had 140+ amendments but not one repub voted for the bill. She said she could get copies of the amendments but it would take a couople of weeks ---let's email her for a copy!

That is a good case for removing the repubs...they helped write the bill but voted against the American people! They scream about being left out but they clearly were not but lie again...CNN has part of the Townhall on --just waiting for a blowup but they did put this on before switching to the MJ side show!--It was clearly a slip up but the message got thru that I quoted above --pass this along!

That Obama spread when he was campaigning for president.. Obama is full of it and Hillary had it right..

Hillary said that Obama was a person with a speech and that is all we heard from Obama and now even the words of the speech is singing the corporate republican tune..

They have now turn the health bill reform into the same type of circus as they have for the bailout money.. All one sided and that was for the Global Banking Empire which pays their political funds and who knows what else...

I now do not trust Obama , his speeches or his health care reform.. This is what I was afraid of when Obama was picking his personal to advise him on his policies like Emanuel.....

To me Obama is a fraud and has lost his credibility.

Obama has backed off of ever major campaign promise he made to us to get elected...

Iraq war ,, free trade bill re-negotiated ,,, Clean up the corruption in of our government , where in the h... are the jobs I see the banking empire spreading it's wealth and power around the world but Americans have lost everything they own.... Now Obama is backing down on a health bill for all the benefits of all Americans into a health bill which will give the health empire more profit , control and power over you and your health plan..

They are going to receive a commitment of Americans which will have to buy insurance from them , a cut in he test they will let the doctors perform on their patients and give you the cheapest and what ever drugs they wish to pay for..

..........for you??????????? O-bought-ma is a 'bait and switch' FASCIST PIG!!!!! No amount of rationalizing about his 'actions' will 'help'. It is clear for those who have eyes.

Blogs are great but action is what we need..To complain on these pages and do nothing at the local /national level makes us the biggest of fools and wastes the resources and facts we have..
Obama has been out in front but the congress writes the legislation and they did not even give him a bill to defend...All three bills in both houses are desparate and will change in 'Conference' which is the final step to legislation ---the current crap is just congressional jockying for power...note the repubs are not playing and terrorizing the uninformed and easily scared...Shut them down ---with action not verbiage on the selected blogs..call -write- email...loudly and often! Otherwise - we are only engaged in verbal masterbation!

on the back pages. you won't know you're fleeced until a week later when an aid for Kucinich gets to the part where we are all totally fucked.

subject on last nights open thread. The WH can't make deals with pharma on prices. It's up to congress.

The "deal" with PhRMA is just divide-and-conquer politics. Rather than face the same unholy alliance that killed reform in 1994, Obama found a partner to pass reform. I guarantee you that if he hadn't done it the $150 million in free advertising would be going the other way right now.

It seems being "so damn smart" has become totally ineffective.

either doesn't care or really did not want a public option in this health bill.

The father This BS goes on , the more it looks as if the only reason for this so health bill reform was;
to make everyone join the health insurance plans;
to cut tests they are now paying for;
to reduce some benefits to Medicare;
to force you to except cheaper drug which they wish you to have;
to reimburse them for the persons now receiving free health care;
This way the ceo's huge salary and bonus increases can keep flowing.

The representatives and other persons which are talking out for the people to have public option or the single payers plan are being censored and shut up..

Just how many of you would be setting on your a... letting this happen if;
this was Bush and the republicans pushing this BS --
instead of Obama , Emanuel , Blue dogs , centrists and the democrat leaders......

Democrats need to start looking NOW for replacements of the blue dog , centrists and leaders which are selling us out...

from the pharma and health ins. people. Part of what's going to be voted on will be a partial privitazion of medicare. Frank rich is right.

It already is partially privatized. Supplemental insurance for your Medicare, seniors. You better get it during the month or so you are allowed to enroll, or you will die a horrible death alone in your beds. Medicare alone is called "plain vanilla Medicare." Works just fine.

I don't agree with everything you say but the general jist is absolutely correct. Get the Blue Dogs out if they don't play. Warn Obama and his crowd that they are playing with on term presidency if he does not do the correct thing. We got him elected and if he acts like a dip shit than we may as well let a real dip shit have the office..

then you see that it's really one party for the organized rich. the (R)emocrats don't give a shit about losing an election. They use the miserable repug politics to keep themselves in the position of "lesser of two evils".

..........did not 'cave'!! Rahm Emmanuel wouldn't 'support' them or their positions. Rahm and Rove are the same animal, ZIONISTPIGS.

As if Faux News would actually broadcast it if the President did.

out in front but 'we' the American voter are letting insurance corps and repubs out flank us! The Congressional delegation of knuckle draggers are letting it happen -when they run from the 'paid for' and the misinformed!

Loudly, let the MSM know that we want the truth reported and to quit letting the liars get away with this BS! Boycotts work--let them know you are turning off their programs and not buying the products who support them!

And when has Mcconnell had a point! or a solution or a idea other than 'no'! Think the problem with these repubs and the bludogs is their lack of intestinal fortitude!

The Republicans are again at it dividing the country blaming the Democrats for attacking the so called protesters as attacking the rights of the citizens?? When in fact the reality here is that the democratic process of the USA is being underminded and attacked by these goons of protesters who do not want Americans to listen and be part of a civil discussion in order to make the right choices for their health care.

If Obama and the democrat would be out in front with their plans and tell the American people just what it is they are planning for the Health Report Bill..'

By their lack of action and information to the American citizens they have lost their credibility ,, as they did with the bailout and other NONE TRANSPARENT policies and actions they lack to provide us with.

When we see all the billions of dollars the blue dogs , Obama and others have received from these Global Health Giants and their lack of explaining the reform bill ,,then there is something that smells to high heaven..

Would you expect a business to handout billions of dollars to someone without expecting a profit return from their INVESTMENT>>>

If they were concerned health providers then they would have been more generous with their health coverage to their policy holders...

Republicans and the Health Empire are paying for and supporting the Thugs ahat are shouting down other people trying to have a town hall meetings and explain what it is all about...
Fact is the democrats are not doing a very job or a very good effort to explain the details of this health bill..

in Medicare to pay for others. Where is this coming from? That's one--repeat it four more times in public and it becomes the truth. That is this coming weeks big talking point. Watch.

That campaign with the promises that there was a change a comming..

The only change I see is in Obama's talk...

He is no longer saying he will renegotiate the free trade bill (which has outsourced over 6 bilion American jobs).

The more I hear the democrats , Obama talking about the health bill , the more it sounds like a bait and switch bill..

of the future: Old Bait 'n' Switch.

The only thing I have heard is an unfilled speech..

Words are not paying American's bills or house payment.. The very banking empire which was given trillion of dollars of our tax money are also taking back the homes from Americans...

civility and bipartisanship are being used by the (R)emocrats in the DLC / DSCC / DCCC override the popular will. The media has, of course, been doing it's part by silencing the poll results.

They probably have rabies. Round them all up and take them to the pound.

DLC hides it's nefarious tricks behind the scenes quite well. They are the 'change agents' of the FASCIST/ZIONISTNEONAZICONS.

"I think attacking citizens in our country for expressing their opinions about an issue of this magnitude may indicate some weakness in their position on the merits.

If we take this to the next level; attacking beck and Limbaugh in our country for expressing their opinions about an issue of this magnitude (Obama is a Nazi and a racist) may indicate some weakness in their position on the merits.
You see Mitch if they are expressing lies and trying to rally the country to get violent because of lies than it is not weakness in their position on the merits, it is attacking them because it is wrong. Way way way wrong. Dip shit.

oppositions is a form of attack in a debate. This is a dual win here for McConnell: criticizing our opinions and weaknesses in the merits of our arguments. We must learn all this quickly and fight back.

I think we spend too much time attacking their behavior, and too little attacking the "substance" of their positions.

to attack.

How can you attack "NO!"?

their opposition to our view as their point of view. See?

I think we spend too much time attacking their behavior, and too little attacking the "substance" of their positions.

This is exactly why I keep saying that Obama has to get out in front of this with a press conference and debunk all these insane lies that Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich are saying. Call them out by name. Let these people know they are being punked and lies to by these people who they look up to. God damn it!!

We have to do it.

They think that all we will do is to continue bitching about it to each other, like we mostly do now. We do not scare them or even concern them. They throw us a bone occasionally, and we get all proud of ourselves because our point of view got mentioned. Like at his last presser, he mentioned "single payer." I mean just said the words. That was it, and we filled with false hope and pride that we were recognized. Duh!

dialog advance until they do and then require them to prove their point with facts. If they do this on TV, e-mail the shows, sponsors, and anyone else you can think of who has contact with them. Write letters to the editors of your local newspapers, and send copies of your letters to magazines and national newspapers. Don't let them drive the train. In your letters, point out their lies, and refute them citing actual facts that people can check. Point out the lack of logic. Point out any bribes they have taken, but call them campaign contributions. You get it. Now just do it.

Emailing the news papers works. Emailing congresspeople may not work well because they trow them away. They get too many.

The democrat party is divided.. We have elected too many republicans on our democrat ticket and now we are seeing the effects of it..

We no longer have true democrat leaders because people like Emanuel and other democrats have been FUNDED , Supporting and picking republicans or democrats which used to be republicans so they As Emanuel and Obama said we could move the the center ,,, which means to the center right because we are already to the right of the center now..

How can the republicans lose!!!!!!!!! They have their permanent group of solid extremist right wing party and the base with the same support.
You will not bust this mass... Now they have 60 or more republicans in elected on the democrat ticket which not only gives them the majority but they can blame the democrats for any problems which occur..

We have lost control of our own party and every election it is moving farther to the right and leaving the democratic values and concern for Americans..

come to this site and don't know an adjective from a noun. Gawd, where did you go to school? Oh, I forgot, you guys have home schooling.

government. We have few choices: Take it back, move, or accept it. Pick one.

)O(

I emailed WFAA, the Dallas Morning News, the Austin American Statesman, Lloyd Doggett's website and Nancy Pelosi's website, as soon as Doggett's town hall was mobbed by these cretins on 8/4/09.

I mentioned about the Freedom Watch and the leak of methods to be used, but so far there's been no mention of that leak in any news or pundit show.

issue. Don't waste your time.

)O(

The mob aren't expressing opinions

Just shouting slogans

Provided by Astroturf organizers

Repeatedly

So no other questions can be heard

Or answered.

It looks like the Democrats (or should we now call them the "New Nazi Party" according to McChinless's rightwing friends?) are going to be intimidated and bullyed into backing down on meaningful health care reform. It's not a surprise. They showed no spine during the 8 year Bush regime reign of terror and are on track to once again assume the position.

It's just plain pathetic.

I voted for Obama to lead, not plead.

Half a trillion in Medicare cuts -- whether or not that figure is accurate -- doesn't begin to address the larger context of the GOP disaster that has left our economy an absolute mess.

McConnell certainly doesn't want us to link the failure of the Republicans to reign in the looting by Wall Street, Enron, Tyco, and the Oil Majors, while the SEC put on blinders and the GOP failed to show any leadership. The GOP never got around to making funding for FBI investigations of mortgage fraud a priority and that was a huge part of the near- system collapse we've had the last 12 months.

McConnell clearly wants to evade the point.
The point is: if we hadn't just been through years of mortgage fraud, financial market manipulation, and criminal neglect of the loopholes for tax havens, the economy would be in better shape.

Oh, and if Cheney had been correct in his claims that 'the oil revenues' would completely fund the Iraq War, we'd also be in better shape.

The point is: the GOP screwed up the economy.
Now, in order to help fix the economy, we have to fix the out of control costs of health care.
Until health care is addressed -- since it's over 1/6th of the economic activity in the nation -- we can't fix the economic problems that the GOP left us.

I can certainly see why McConnell doesn't want us to talk about it, however. If we did, and if people actually connected the dots between economic problems and spiralling health care costs, the GOP's era as a political party would be o-v-e-r.

Half a trillion in Medicare cuts

looks like the extension of the boosh presidency into a third term. When the DLC / DSCC / DCCC gets done, there will be no net difference between what we were afraid of in the last election and what the (R)emocrats foist on us.

All that money. We were robbed, and it continues.

"Until health care is addressed -- since it's over 1/6th of the economic activity in the nation -- we can't fix the economic problems that the GOP left us."

I say, "Health care" had absolutely nothing to do with how Chimpster, Darth Voldemort, global corporations, banksters and the GOP ran this country into the ground.

I suppose next you will tell us how your "car started to burn oil" so you (looked at the tea leaves?) and decided to have your "brakes fixed"...???

Of the insurance industry? How about Medicare, Part D? How about the bankruptcy "reform?" How about not doing a fucking thing except screw the real people of this country? And killing their children?

All while making themselves and their fat cat friends even more wealthy? Does any of this work for you?

costs the Average American many hundreds of dollars every year, and medicare part D probly sucks (didnt read it yet)... but, Govt/corps/banksters have stolen trillions and they are not finished.

Our country is in big trouble because of Bankers, the military industrial complex,International corporations and the politicians they buy and install.

The car does not need brakes!

(although they are worn)

When I read the tea leaves...(they whisper) "tea party" ...over and over again...

.

I ended up having to call India and London trying to track down billing problems for one elderly relative's care.

I was a victim of fraudulent billing over the medical coverage for that relative.

By failing to address the spiraling costs of health care, and then adding strain on the US budgets by going into Iraq, etc, the Chimpster and Darth Voldemort failed to help US corporations control costs of employee benefits. Health care companies are often 'global corporations' -- generally, subsidiaries of 'global corporations'.

Last that I heard, Phillips (based in Netherlands) owned key patents and manufacturing plants related to imaging technologies like ultrasound, MRIs. Do you honestly believe that the costs of medical imaging technologies don't ripple out into health care costs?

Do you honestly believe that every Premera shareholder is a US citizen? (If you do, boy do I have a great deal on oceanfront property in Arizona for you...!)

Bush and Cheney did not deal with 'health care insurance': a problem that represents 1 out of every 6 US dollars.

You can't simply 'not deal' with 1/6th of your economy and expect things to perk along in a fine fashion. Health care costs are absolutely related to larger economic factors. The GOP was in charge when costs spiralled without any effort by the Republicans to address the problem. (Then again, Bill Frist, R-TN was a big shareholder in a hospital corporation, so evidently he wasn't very motivated to control health care costs.)

The Bush-Cheney failure to address the globalized nature of some medical records and medical billing, and to cost controls for medicines, was beyond irresponsible.

In addition, the system has become so complex and convoluted that it is almost tailor-made for fraud.

The GOP failed to address fraud in mortgages, as well as in military contracts, government contracts, and health insurance.

Their failure on all fronts tanked the economy.

Failing to address health care was the icing on a very shitty cake.

And let it not go unmentioned that Wallace focuses solely on the Democrats calling these mobs "Nazi-like" without acknowledging the full blown mob materials in all its Godwin-esque glory (link goes to LGF). What was that about the liberal media again?

Tipical of Mike Wallace's son. Talk about Nazis in the context of the Democrats but do not mention anything about Limpdick and Beck or the rest of their ilk outright calling Obama a Nazi. Good job there Mike's son.

It's lower on the C&L list, and well worth your time.

Schaffer's passionate insistence on civil conduct, calling out the kind of thing McConnell is doing by pretending the Tea Baggers are somehow 'innocent' of inciting violence borders on an act of grace.

If you've not seen it, go watch.
It's a marvel of human decency and courage.

Yeah, I heard it on Rachel. This guy is pissed off.

Bitch Mitch, still the party of NO, NO, NO, No

Frankly, the truth of the matter is we don’t know who’s organized and who isn’t. The point is the issue, the substance. They need to deal with it. Americans are concerned about it.

The first part is a laughable lie.
The second part is incredibly insane. These people are yelling and mobbing about substance that is not true. "Don't touch medicare and keep government out of my health care." "Obama is going to euthanize old people." "They are going to take away my health insurance."
Is that the issue yoiu want to talk about there Mitch because it is the only thig they bring to the table. The Americans you are talking about are concerned about something that is not true. Fuck wad.

for example the banking industry's refusal to open any money for credit, despite the hundreds of billions handed to them as a taxpayers' gift, a bailout AFTER they'd ripped off their shareholders and customers, and looted their own institutions from the inside.

As if the Health Scare Industry has any more integrity?

All in all, it's quite difficult to argue with the loonies when we are trying to pull the knife out of our backs.

So the astro turf can go in and act like freakin mobsters attacking our Congressman but WE shouldnt attck them ?
Pulease
Republicans have become kooks and nuts

about the only thing I have really learned is that I can count on pretty much nothing being what it was meant to be or touted to be or intended to be.

I thought we were just bitching.

with bitching

I am not convinced that BHO was a real win. We need one now, or I fear the game will be entirely over, and we will have lost. Can you see any other issue coming up that will get the attention that this one gets? I can't. This is the big one. The "decider."

We whined about it. The truth hurts sometimes but if the shoe fits.

Where are our selections to replace person like the blue dogs , centrists and others which have sold us out.. Tomorrow is too d.. late.

Remember when you talk of taxing the wealthy we are talking about quite a few democrats and it looks as if they do not want their income nest taxed...

There's more going on here than meets the eye when every single Republican leader is a despicable person. Seriously - something's going on here, and i don't like it. Ever since the C-street revelations and the Republican racist bigot revelations.
The racist bigots have been concentrated into the Republican party, like a school of fish into a net of their own making.

It's like they are no longer a party but have degenerated into more like a tribe.

Is it not?

Either one works for me.

)O(

Tribes can be "Noble Savages"

Mob suggests Mafia.

I think that I've met more than a few.
The world has changed more rapidly, and unexpectedly, than they have been able to manage.

Some of them really have good hearts, but they feel screwed and for that I can't actually blame them. They have a lot of distrust, and it's hard to blame them for that, either.

They don't have experience developing new ideas and promoting them, and they tend to be suspicious of any kind of change.

What IMHO is shameful on McConnell's part is to pretend that these people have any kind of solution; they don't. But instead of showing them how they can improve their own lives, he basically kisses their asses and tells them sweet lies.

That's where his moral cowardice and shameless currying favor for profiteers is corrupted -- and corrupting.

A real leader would try to explain how the changes will make their own lives better. McConnell's not up to that task, nor is anyone in the GOP that I've seen.

By the way - i don't think McConnell is a nice guy. I could be wrong, but i don't like what i see.

.

He kisses the asses of very frightened people and tells them sweet lies.

What worse can you say about a man, really?

Oh, wait, there's Dick Cheney...

hey old boy your party doesnt CARE about those who dont have insurance, let alone reforming it. your ONLY interest is to see this fail, and thus OBama looks bad, because you want your party to gain from it. its all about politics. you dont care, Limbaugh doesnt care, Oreally doesnt care. its about money and politics. furthering your party is the real agenda. and listening your actual master, the special interests. the American people are just 'special', as in voting for you, but not 'interesting' enough to actually work for, mitchy ol boy. u are a sell out.

positive that elections are fixed by Diebold's computerized voting tabulators. Scary, huh?

Tea Party people are angry because of the bailout of taxpayer money and the rest of the people protesting at the town halls want to shut down any type of debate.

Given that 19 of the 20 largest cases of companies found guilty of committing fraud against the United States government are in the health care/health insurance industry, these people are essentially advocating fraud by shilling for more of the same with their "Just Say No" rhetoric.

http://www.governmentdirt.com/top_20_largest_...

Jowls McConnell is a corrupt tool of industry.

)O(

How often does mcconnell French-kiss lindsey graham?

Thank you for watching fox news so I don't have to. The republicans are angry because they got their butts kicked in '08. Obama is better than Bush for sure.

aggravated me the most about how Republicans attack their opposition - make statements accusing them (ie: the Democrats) of doing exactly what you yourself are doing. If you are using thuggish tactics accuse your opponents of having used them first, caught cheating on your wife throw out a dozen Democrats name who did it too (and don't forget the Clenis). This tactic works best when you manage to make the accusations BEFORE your opponent has a chance to complain about your behavior. The Repugs are masters of this.

It's like that stupid bully who grabs your hand and hits you with it, each time saying "quit hitting yourself, quit hitting yourself". How do you even begin to argue against the stupidity of a person whose only intent is to humiliate and frustrate you? You can't. If you are smart you kick them in the jewels before they get close enough to grab your arm.

He has a public health plan in Congress!!! If he's against the idea of a public plan why is he taking advantage of the one every member of Congress has? Because the "little people" will make it cost too much. Now that's RATIONING health care!!

Imagine these scum bags taking over again , and it's probably not if but when they do . If that doesn't scare the hell out of you and stir you into becoming active nothing will .

I would like to know how many of you who have commented about this health care plan have actually READ the health care plan. Be honest.

I'd guess it's less than 10%, yet you all sound like experts.

I'm just saying........

health care plan?

We have to know that if any of us did this at anti-war rally it would take 4 seconds for the MAN to come over and bust our damn heads open. Really discouraging.

I wish you would learn how to spell. You consistently misspell the name of the Senate Minority Leader. It's not Mitch McConnell, it's Mitch McComical.

They're regurgitating the talking points created by a handful of 1%ers who don't want to pay higher income taxes. That's the issue we have a problem with.
