I only watched a little of it, but it seems to me that he promised there would be no spying on our medical records if they are electronically updated.

Bush: Our goal by the way, is to have every American to have an electronic medical record, by the way, with the guarantee of privacy.

It brings to mind what he said about court orders and wiretaps.

Bush: When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so....

Then there's this breaking story today about the personal data records of 26.5 million veterans being stolen:

Bush also was asked to tell a sixteen year old girl how to make America a better place.
