Former Reagan Navy Secretary, freshly elected Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) will be delivering the Democratic response to President Bush's State of the Union speech, a congressional newspaper reports.

[..]Roll Call adds that the Vietnam veteran also has a son "fighting in Iraq" and "will help the Democrats counter Bush's recent call to increase troop levels in Iraq and continue the conflict."
