Send some good vibes in the direction of 81 year old blues legend B.B. King, hospitalized this week at John Sealy Hospital of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he had been scheduled to play a concert on Thursday. I only met King a couple of times-- both when he was working with Eric Clapton-- and he is a fascinating guy who has been a vital part of the history of our country in almost all of the 20th Century. I was awed to be hanging out with Eric and BB when they made this video down the street from my old office in Burbank.
