The feud between Stephen Colbert and Bill O'Reilly and their competing auctions continued on Comedy Central this Thursday, with Colbert expressing his shock that Bill-O would be upset with him for his previous "homage" to his mentor, Papa Bear O'Reilly.

COLBERT: Now, sadly Bill did not see this as an homage, because recently, Papa Bear took a swipe at me. [...]

But Bill if you're watching, you should know that you really hurt me. And if you're not watching, that hurts me even more. I wasn't mocking you. I was celebrating you. Just taking some of the weight off of your shoulders. Why does it always have to be you talking about how great you are?

Colbert wrapped things up by getting a few shots in on O'Reilly for how his action is going.
