The Fort Hood shooter who then took his own life has been identified as 34-year-old Spc. Ivan Lopez.
Law enforcement sources said four people were dead, including the gunman, who died of a self-inflicted wound. Officials said several people were wounded, although the exact number was not immediately clear. At one point there were reports that as many as 14 people had been wounded.
