At least that's probably how it works somewhere. Here's a traditional women's dance that's been arranged for both western instruments like clarinet and violin as well as traditional Macedonian instruments like qanun and doumbek. With that sort of orchestration, I feel that this performance does a really good job of representing Macedonia's western and middle-eastern influence at the same time.
