DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin told CBS' Face The Nation that by live streaming the execution of Nidal Hassan, the Fort Hood shooter, Trump was "restoring America values and bringing where America should be."

Host Margaret Brennan asked," Couldn't this be a risk to the homeland? Hassan's in a wheelchair. Doesn't the administration risk live streaming this and making him a murder to his cause?"
"Couldn't this be a risk to the homeland?," she asked.
That's something Mullin should be considering as the head of DHS, but he is not.
MULLIN: No one has to watch it, but for me to have sympathy for anybody that killed 13 service members in a scumbag like this, it's a psycho who was supposed to be a psychiatrist.
BRENNAN: I'm not asking about him, I'm asking about the live streaming and the risk that could be created by it.
MULLIN: Listen, once again, no one has to watch it if they don't choose to.
BRENNAN: Why live stream it?
MULLIN: I follow President Trump. He's a commander, he's a commander and chief of the country, and he does a phenomenal job.
He leads this country with a very, very, very direct, forward, straight hand, and he's restoring America values and bringing where America should be, back in line with what we want.
When has the U.S. ever televised or in today's world live streamed an execution?
Never.
It's barbaric and provides no necessary service to the country at large, except to prove how craven and despicable we are.
Brennan said his Republican colleagues say, "that this provides exactly what terrorists crave, an audience that risks martyrdom. Have you weighed the risk here of radicalization, of just creating a risk?"
"Margaret, we weigh the risk every single day in this country," he replied.
If he actually did weigh the risks he would be advising Trump to not do it, but he is a useless Stepford placeholder.
MULLIN: I think people need to understand, if you attack America, we will come after you, and we will make sure that the punishment fits the crime.
And in this case, he killed 13 individuals on Fort Hood.
I have no sympathy for him, and I give absolutely zero thought to the way that this man dies.
