The Second Wave: Updates As We Get 'Em

What's going on? We'll try to piece it together.

Results, mixed in with our sense of the zeitgeist:

Where will Scott Brown run next?

  • Can Chris Matthews let go of his fixation on "professional" politicians in light of the harm some of them do? Probably not.
  • VA Sen: Gillespie 52%, Warner 46% w/ 45% precincts reporting. #VA10th: Comstock 62% Foust 34% w/ 17%. HOWEVER most heavily populated, Democratic part of the state has not reported.
  • NBC projects Tom Wolf as the winner against PA Republican Gov. Tom Corbett. GOOD RIDDANCE! No numbers yet.
  • Delaware's Chris Coons (D) keeps his seat.
  • Cory Booker, Dick Durbin, Ed Markey all win.
