Since Thanksgiving was late this year, Toys for Tots had fewer days to collect enough toys to meet their goals, and corporate donations are $2 million behind. That's a lot of toys!

So the need for your help is more urgent than ever.

As you'll see in this video from upstate New York, some kids get much-needed coats, blankets, and gloves, too.

You can find a local dropoff box, but this close to the wire, money is better. It goes directly to the communities with the highest need, and it's spent in the local communities to buy the toys.

Toys for Tots is a top-rated charity. Ninety-seven percent of the funds collected goes to buying gifts. All labor is donated.

Please, make a donation here.

Can you help us out?

For nearly 20 years we have been exposing Washington lies and untangling media deceit, but now Facebook is drowning us in an ocean of right wing lies. Please give a one-time or recurring donation, or buy a year's subscription for an ad-free experience. Thank you.
