When I first heard the album, I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to end. And, after playing it over a few times, I noticed that it sounds a lot like the sounds of their first two albums and their last two albums combined. Not a lot of bands out there have a sound that matures like this, which is why Modest Mouse manages to put out consistently great material.
