True to its name, this album was actually used at New York's LaGuardia Airport for a while in the '80s. In addition to being used in airports, Eno actually conceived the idea for the album while Cologne Bonn Airport in Germany. According to Eno, he sought to compose music that was "as ignorable as it is interesting," which, I'd say, he did pretty well.
