I guess it's gotten pretty bleak for Republicans when the Fox News blonde du jour enthusiastically backs the GOP Candidate that said, 'Well somebody's doing the raping.' Fox's morning program, America's Newsroom, co-hosted by Bill Hemmer, tries to tackle the pros and cons of a Donald Trump candidacy.
Trump has fallen out of favor at NBC, Univision, Macy's and Serta Mattress because of his accusatory remarks claiming that many Mexican immigrants, or illegals as he says, are rapists and murderers. Monica Crowley thinks that he's just the cat's pajamas. He's what the GOP needs right now, because he's a 'straight talker.' (wonder if that had negative marriage equality connotations?) Monica claims there are two great services he's performing for the rest of the candidates.
'1.) He is not caving in to the Leftist intimidation tactics, they're going after Univision, they're going after Macy's, they're going after NBC and they have all caved... 2.) By being this brash and outspoken, could he say things in a more graceful way? Maybe, but guess what? He's doing a lot of political blocking for the other candidates...he is kind of going out there as the lead rabbit.'
Doug Schoen, former Clinton adviser thinks that this infighting is the best thing for Hillary and the Democrats. All Hillary needs to do is say 'Republicans, Republicans, Republicans,' and nothing more need be said. This is all 'great news for the Democrats, couldn't be better.
But Crowley thinks he's being 'courageous' and saying the things that need to be said. The only other GOP klown kar occupant would be Ted Cruz, who is also 'courageous' (sic offensive). Schoen states that nothing would be better for Hillary's chances than a Trump/Cruz GOP ticket. The crazy would be too much for too many Americans that the GOP excludes: women, LGBT, Black people, immigrants, thinkers, non-religious fundamentalists, Muslims and anyone with a conscience or soul who isn't hell bent on being willfully misinformed.
Schoen couldn't be more correct. This GOP infighting is truly a blessing, or as he calls it, 'manna from Heaven.' How can Crowley be anything other than totally off her rocker? Remember that this woman, in 2008 called Sarah Palin, Ann Margaret in Kitten With a Whip. H/T Blue Gal (watch at the 1:14 mark).
