Ben Carson: Muslim Americans Would Have To Be Schizophrenic To Embrace Democracy

Did you guys and gals know Dr. Ben Carson is still in the presidential race? Well, I imagine he wanted to remind the good folks in South Carolina that he's still running and can be just as xenophobic as the next GOP presidential candidate.

Do you think Sharia compliant Muslims can do that?

Only if they're schizophrenic.

There you go.

In an interview today on “Breitbart News Daily,” Ben Carson once again tried to outmatch Donald Trump’s anti-Muslim bigotry, telling host Stephen Bannon that Muslim-Americans would have to be “schizophrenic” if they wanted to embrace American values like democracy while adhering to Islamic doctrines.

He went on to warn that terrorists from the Middle East are crossing into the U.S. through the Mexican border and criticized former President George W. Bush’s statement that Islam is a peaceful religion, saying instead that Islam is “a religion of domination.”

Carson urged listeners to find out why “people didn’t like” the Prophet Mohammad and why he was “somebody who lived a life who is in no way comparable to Jesus Christ.”
