Ben Carson Freaks Out, Says Obama Trying To Start Race Wars
July 6, 2015

I suppose Ben Carson would be more comfortable if matters of race were discussed in "quiet rooms" among quiet men willing to allow the status quo to continue. Perhaps he thinks a lack of discomfort will possibly change minds and ideas that haven't changed for hundreds of years?

That must be why he decided to lose his cookies and ramp up the race talk:

“No, I think I would use the bully pulpit to help people realize what we have in common rather than what separates us,” Carson responded. “What it’s been used for for the last several years is to create wars: a war on women, race wars, any kind of anything involving people of two different races, income wars, always class warfare, religious wars now, age wars. You know, these are exactly the kinds of things you want to do when you want to destroy a society, not when you want to bring people together.”

Of course, "bully pulpits" are not just the province of Presidents. So when Carson says President Obama is trying to start race wars, he is using his own bully pulpit to divide people, just as he claims President Obama is doing.

And the Clown Car is just revving up.
