Bill O'Reilly let Ted Cruz know that he wasn't having any of his bull over Fox News' coverage of his campaign.
February 12, 2016

I think it's not a stretch to say Fox News was pretty giddy when it came to Marco Roboto (The winning name on our Rubio poll) after Iowa, but it really is too much when Ted Cruz complains about their coverage of his campaign. Fox News only supports Republican politicians and Ted Cruz has benefited mightily from years of dedicated service towards making him a conservative powerhouse and a viable presidential campaign.

Cruz' stunted comedic style wasn't lost on Bill O'Reilly, but Fox News wasn't the only network salivating over Roboto's third place finish in the Iowa caucus. And the Republican establishment was also thrilled with his Iowa showing because they've been looking for someone to get behind outside of Trump and Cruz. So when BIllO saw Cruz going after his network, he responded in kind and made the Texas Senator look pretty weak in the process.

Almost every politician feels that one news operation or another does not give them a fair shake.

I myself have leveled charges of unfairness against some entities, so I can sympathize with the pols.

Yesterday Senator Ted Cruz surprised me by saying this:

TED CRUZ: “I’m looking forward to a wall-to-wall coverage of Fox News of the impressive third-place finish, which Marco Rubio got. So, I’m sure that’s what we’ll see on every show on Fox today, the shockingly impressive third-place finish of Cruz.”

The senator being sarcastic, apparently believing that FNC favors Marco Rubio.

Well I can't speak for Fox News, but I can tell you that Senator Rubio has been much easier to book than Senator Cruz.

In fact, Senator Rubio will be with us in two minutes, and Senator Cruz will not be with us even though we invited him on tonight.

We also invited Ted Cruz on tomorrow night, and we invited him on earlier this week. I don't really know what else to do. I'll even buy him dinner.

I wonder if Cruz isn't emulating Donald Trump once again in thinking that if he attacks Fox News it might help him in South Carolina.

I'm kind of surprised that Cruz hasn't been on O'Reilly of late. What's he afraid of?

Can you help us out?
