The food fight between Jeb! and GOP frontrunner Donald Trump continued during this Saturday's CBS GOP debate. Poor old Jeb Bush is tired of the Donald picking on his family.

Mr Bush, who will campaign on Monday with his brother, rejected Mr Trump's comments and defended his family, including father former president George HW Bush.

"I'm sick and tired of him going after my family. My dad is the greatest man alive in my mind," he said.

"While Donald Trump was building a reality TV show, my brother was building a security apparatus to keep us safe. And I'm proud of what he did."

Mr Bush went on the attack against Mr Trump by reminding the audience that the billionaire had criticised his 90-year-old mother, Barbara Bush.

"He had the gall to go after my mother," she said.

"My mother is the strongest woman I know."

Mr Trump responded: "She should be running."

I can't stand Trump, but if there's one thing we can thank him for, it's going after the Bush family and their "legacy." I'm sick to death of hearing the talking heads in the media tell everyone how "beloved" that battleaxe Babs is. Somehow I doubt the residents of New Orleans would have very many fond memories of her.
