The walls keep crumbling around David Daleiden and it is glorious to see. The poster boy of the forced birth movement has another state gunning for him, apparently. Just last night the California Department of Justice raided his home and seized a laptop and multiple hard drives.

It is unclear if this raid stems from new charges or if this is an extension of his previous charges, but regardless, it is fantastic to see him squirming under further law enforcement raids.

Daleiden, for his part, came out swinging with this very Trump-like threat about the hard drives:

“[they contain] some very damning footage that has yet to be released to the public”

You mean you have some more doctored footage that you obtained illegally using fake federal and state ID's to entrap employees working completely within the law? Great.

The National Abortion Federation, a professional organization for abortion providers that was one of the targets in Daleiden’s videos, threw a little shade at Daleiden after hearing news of the raid.

“We fully support a thorough investigation into the activities perpetrated by David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress. As the evidence has shown in our case, he engaged in a long-running criminal conspiracy. His actions are not without consequences.”

Planned Parenthood released the following statement as well:

“David Daleiden’s lies are catching up with him. The only people who engaged in wrongdoing are the extremists who broke multiple laws to spread lies about Planned Parenthood — and it looks like they’re finally being held accountable.”

Daleiden and his co-conspirator pled not guilty to charges in Texas and that case has yet to be resolved. Let's see if California adds charges to his future rap sheet.

Karma.
