Pat Robertson: I Am 'Appalled' Because Transgenders Are 'Frauds'

To the Christian broadcaster, transgenders just want access to women's locker rooms so they can see them undress.
Views:

Pat Robertson is really upset that Bruce Springsteen (and others) boycotted North Carolina over their new anti-Transgender bathroom law.

The religious right leader is "appalled" that the left is so upset by God fearing North Carolina people, who want to protect their children from predators going into the ladies bathroom. Especially since Transgenders usual admit that they really made a mistake.

Robertson said, "They're women, trapped in a man's body and then ten years later they say,"well, I made a mistake." Yea, sure."

What really got Robertson's goat is that in Saudi Arabia, gays are being executed and Springsteen isn't boycotting them.

He continued, "...they'll be executed because they're practicing homosexuals. Why don't the Bruce Springsteen's of this world and these others go out begin an outrage against Saudi Arabia instead of Charlotte, NC?"

Even NC's Attorney General is saying the new law is unconstitutional and will not prosecute.

“House Bill 2 is unconstitutional,” he said. “Therefore, our office will not represent the defendants in this lawsuit, nor future lawsuits involving the constitutionality of House Bill 2.”

To Pat, all transgenders really just want to have "free access to women's locker rooms, during games when they're changing clothes." "it's perfectly reasonable.

The Christian broadcaster is perfectly fine if transgenders want to change their bodies with surgery and hormones to a different sex, but "they are relatively rare."

"So much of this other stuff is put up, it's put on and it's just a fraud."

And he was not finished.

"This is a phony, phony, phony cause to get involved in. We've got to look after the transgenders. This is nonsense."

Those poor Christians are being persecuted again by not being able to be discriminate freely against those they disagree with.

"..but to make a cause celebre and tear a city apart and boycott cities, and all the rest of it because they want to protect the dignity of their own people is just absurd."
