While speaking to a crowd of supporters in Oregon, Bernie Sanders said that his candidacy has been fighting an uphill battle since the first day he announced his intentions of running for the presidency, some were describing it as a "fringe candidacy." How does that characterization look now?

Then he took on the topic of his real ire.

Sanders said, "Our message to the Democratic delegates who will be assembling in Philadelphia is while we may have many disagreements with Secretary Clinton, there is one area we agree - and that is we must defeat Donald Trump."

This received maybe his biggest ovation in the entire speech.

"And I am very happy to tell you, we will defeat Donald Trump."
