No, this is not an SNL skit. Herman Cain actually went on Fox and Friends this morning and told the viewers that those Republicans in the #NeverTrump movement needed to "get their egos out of the way."

“Mitt [Romney] and all of the anti-Trump, ‘Never Trump’ folk, look behind you. There is no army. What they hear are the voices of these resistance people pushing back against the presumptive nominee. There’s no army back there.

The message is, you’re talking to yourselves. Get your egos out of the way and get behind the presumptive nominee.”

Such a mutually beneficial relationship: Fox and Friends has a quote-unquote "former Presidential candidate" on to push the line that Republicans must unify behind Trump, and Herman gets to plug more than once his AM Radio Talk Show.

Grifters gotta grift. And who better to back Trump than perhaps the only Republican candidate in history who was less knowledgeable than Donald on issues of foreign policy and economics? How's that 9-9-9 tax plan working out for you, Herman?
