After a thumping in Indiana, Ted Cruz has dropped out of the race, thanking all the "patriots who fought so hard to save our nation."

"Tonight, I'm sorry to say, that [path to victory] has been foreclosed," Ted mused.

He then dropped out, while vowing to fight on for the Constitution and those who love it.

All hail Donald Trump, the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party.
