Please Donate To C&L's 2016 Fundraiser And Nab A Rick Perlstein Book
June 20, 2016

I know it's Monday, but I've got some good news.

For anyone donating $99 dollars or more, the great Rick Perlstein has graciously offered to send you a copy of his wonderful and most current book called "The Invisible Bridge."

The New York Times bestselling dazzling portrait of America on the verge of a nervous breakdown in the tumultuous political and economic times of the 1970s.

If you haven't read any of his works yet, they are a real treat. He's a progressive historian who doesn't rewrite history, but shines a bright light on all its inner workings like nobody has before him.

His first foray into history is entitled: "Before The Storm: Barry Goldwater and the Unmaking of the American Consensus"

His second is called: Nixonland: The Rise of a President and the Fracturing of America

Give what you can and if you can afford a little extra, we'd really appreciate it. You can also sign up as an automatic donor as well.

Your generosity helps keep us going.

Thanks so much,
