The Late Show with Stephen Colbert provided some more comic relief following the second night of the 2016 RNC Convention.

If the Trump campaign was hoping that his wife's speech during the opening night of the convention where she just happened to "borrow" several portions of Michelle Obama's 2008 convention speech was going to disappear from the news cycle any time soon, well, good luck with that.

Even if the pundits and talking heads move on to other topics, this one is going to be food for fodder for the late night comics for some time to come.

Here's more on the clip above from Just Jared: Laura Benanti Plays Melania Trump for Colbert Spoof (Video):

Laura Benanti does a hilarious impression of Melania Trump in a spoof on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The Tony Award-winning actress has previously appeared on the program and talked about how people compare her looks to Melania‘s, so it’s fitting that she is doing this spoof!

In the appearance, Laura played Melania as she tried to explain how she didn’t plagiarize her speech at the Republican National Convention, yet she uses famous lines throughout the whole thing.

Make sure to listen for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song, the Kit-Kat bar jingle, and more.
