Well, my hometown made the news over the last day or two. Not just in the USA and in Canada but internationally as well.
I grew up on these waters. I know their power and respect them. Apparently, a lot of people thought they were just going to be heading down a country stream.
The untold story though is that Michigan governor Kid Rock dispatched a flotilla of suped up Jet Ski's and party barges to the scene to assist in rescue efforts but it was too late.
I doubt any of them were singing this song.
