Obama Finally Calls Out The Real Problem With Trump: The Press

This is a media problem.
Views:

We are finally to the point where "folks are noticing" to paraphase the President, that the political media in the United States has taken it upon themselves to legitimize Donald Trump's candidacy for the Presidency.

This, in spite of all evidence pointing to Trump's total inability to understand policy, his disqualifying lack of temperament, and his constant lying. Constant, constant, lying.

Barack Obama is still doing the actual work of being President of the United States, but from a press conference in Laos, Obama took time to point out the obvious to the press corps.

Donald Trump is not qualified to be President, and you in the media should listen to what he is saying and follow up with his false and disqualifying statements.

It's not complicated. But profit-driven cable media, addicted as it is to both siderism and the "view from nowhere," can't not make this a horserace, even though most quasi-sane Republicans and traditionally Republican-endorsing editorial boards are lining up behind Clinton.

Can't wait for Chuck Todd to play this clip and then "report the controversy." Sigh.
