Trump thinks this birther issue is just going to go away if he decides he's not going to talk about it. Apparently Bill O'Reilly didn't get the memo that he's not supposed to bring it up. They're hoping all of those white suburban voters that he's suddenly so worried about offending are going to get a case of collective amnesia and forget all about it.

Here's Trump on this Tuesday's O'Reilly Factor pretending he's got no idea whether or not his racist attacks against our first African-American president might have something to do with his poll numbers being in the single digits, and acting very surprised that O'Reilly would even ask him about it: Fox's Bill O'Reilly Asks Trump If He Believes Birtherism Has Hurt Him With African Americans:

BILL OREILLY: Do you think your birther position has hurt you among African Americans?

DONALD TRUMP: I don't know. I have no idea. I don't even talk about it anymore Bill because I don’t bother talking about it.

O’REILLY: Yea I know, but it’s there, it’s on the record.

TRUMP: I guess with maybe some, I don't know, I really don't know why, you're the first one who brought that up in a while. I don't think so. Look, I went to Detroit was like a love-fest. It had just a great time.
