Most stories about Roy Clark’s passing today will lead off with mentioning he was a leading star on the show Hee Haw.

That legacy of cheese may overshadow things a bit but let’s not forget that he could seriously shred on any stringed instrument put into his hands.

I know I learned a quite a few things from of his guitar lesson books. Many of them I use to this day, in fact.
