It was on this day, January 23rd, in 1967, that Pink Floyd first entered Sound Techniques Studios in London to start recording. One of the songs they did in those sessions was "Arnold Layne." According to Roger Waters, the song was on the true story a transvestite whose primary pastime was stealing women's undergarments from clothing lines in Cambridge.
