C&L's Late Nite Music Club With Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band

Forcin' a light into all those stony faces left stranded on this fourth of July

In the earlier parts of his recording career, Bruce could sure pen some very poetic and descriptive novellas of the life around him. His 2nd album, 1973's The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle, has a ton of such. "4th Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)" is a great example of observation and storytelling.
