AOC Calls Out Manchin Over Infrastructure Bill
September 3, 2021

Sen. Manchin penned another op-ed in the WSJ and he channeled the spirit of Republicans and said he wants President Biden to pause the Build Back Better infrastructure bill. Manchin did this on the same day the entire Northeast flooded, due to climate change effects in Hurricane Ida.

Yet some in Congress have a strange belief there is an infinite supply of money to deal with any current or future crisis, and that spending trillions upon trillions will have no negative consequence for the future. I disagree.

You get the gist. It's spoken like Mitch McConnell's b**ch.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threw down the gauntlet after Manchin's latest appeasement of the QAnon party, tweeting:

And more:

The idea that a few members of the Democratic party in the Senate want to derail real help to the entirety of the American people and fail to meaningfully address climate change is unforgivable.

After the fiasco in Texas -- the one Sen. Susan Collins promised would never happen -- Manchin and Sinema must not abandon the voters that elected them as well as almost every American who isn't rich. There is no longer any argument for the filibuster or against expanding the court. They need to step up and support President Biden's agenda.

Twitter folks other than AOC had some thoughts on Manchin, too:
