Florida covered up their COVID data so nobody knows the actual death or infection totals under DeSantis' reign. And THEN he attacks Fauci.
August 23, 2022

Florida governor Ron DeSantis joined his campaign media arm, Fox and Friends to throw Dr. Fauci under the bus and demand Biden's chief medical adviser be "investigated."

DeSantis claimed Dr. Fauci was the arrogant one by defending science against crackpots like Scott Atlas and himself.

'[Fauci] advocated policies that have been destructive," DeSantis said. "He cost people's jobs, he destroyed people's businesses with his policies, and he was never willing to admit he was wrong," DeSantis chirped.

That sounded an awful lot like DeSantis was describing Trump's behavior during the pandemic, doesn't it?

DeSantis then lied, "It was clear those policies don't work," he said.

How many more Americans would be dead right now if not for the guidance of Dr. Fauci if Ron DeSantis' anti-vaccine Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo ran the CDC in 2020?

"Vaccinations are not the only one," Ladapo said in a press conference. "It's losing weight. It's exercising more. It's eating more fruit."

Ladapo was a big supporter of hydroxychloroquine which Trump promoted, but is not a cure or treatment for COVID.

In reality, it was the virus that cost people their jobs, and businesses since around 1,066,082 people were killed by the pandemic so far.

Initial lock-downs and mask-wearing CDC guidelines were at the heart of DeSantis' whining. The Florida governor then went QAnon on Fauci ...

"I hope if Republicans take control, that they will get to the bottom of everything from the origins of COVID to the manifest failures of the public health establishment, particularity Dr. Fauci."

Co-host Brian Kilmeade then claimed Dr. Fauci was the US president at the time of the virus' outbreak.

"I think [Fauci] done more damage to more people at more ages than anybody else in this country," Kilmeade said.

Trying to keep Americans safe after COVID19 hit our shores was Dr.Fauci's paramount objective, while the Florida governor used his constituents as guinea pigs to 'own the libs' and enhance his reputation for the anti-Vax -flat earth crowd.

News Channel 8 reports, "A review of Florida’s COVID-19 case and mortality statistics produced by the state’s Auditor General found the number of cases and deaths reported by the Department of Health were underreported due to data collection issues.

"The report, published on June 1, comes after a Florida Dept. of Health Office of Inspector General investigation concluded claims by self-styled whistleblower Rebekah Jones that the state had modified data to downplay COVID-19 numbers in the state were false. NBC News obtained a copy of the OIG report in May."
