On Fox News' Outnumbered, Democratic contributor Marie Harf took apart the Republicans' first press conference after reclaiming the House. Their first actions weren't to help the country, but to investigate Hunter Biden.
"Republicans took control of the House by a slim majority,' Harf said. "In their first press conference, they didn't talk about inflation, they didn't come out with a plan for the southern border. They didn't talk about how they're doing to fight crime. They talked about Hunter Biden."
The squad of conservatives on the couch, which included the idiot Fox News doc, Marc Siegel didn't like her words at all.
"You said you were going to fix inflation and the southern border. Where are those plans?" Harf asked.
There are no plans, only off-the-wall rhetoric.
"If Republicans want to say to the American people for the two years we're interested mostly in investigating the administration and not in actually governing, as a Democrat, I will run against that every day and twice on Sundays," she said.
Emily Campagno later came on and tried to say Republicans did address the issues Republicans ran on, but as usual, blamed the media which is not accurate at all.
I wrote about this very thing yesterday:
Their first action after barely retaking the House was to hold a press conference and announce their #1 priority in America was to investigate Hunter and Joe Biden.
Guess what their next priority is? The treatment of the traitorous scum that attacked the US Capitol on January 6.
This is QAnon's wet dream.
Americans have no interest in these types of investigations as was made evident by the latest Morning Consult poll:
What Americans do not want is for Republicans to waste time and effort on investigating Hunter Biden, Dr. Fauci, impeaching Biden, Covid origins (Wuhan conspiracies), transgender athletes in sports, and the 2020 general election.
In other words, as Morning Consult writes, "The House GOP’s Agenda for the Next Congress Isn’t Particularly Popular
