Earlier today, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Republican Party after yesterday's mass shooting at Michigan State University.

Scarborough, a former Republican Congressman, did not mince words after yesterday marked the 67th mass shooting in America this year so far. That's more than one mass shooting a day.

"This does not happen in other industrialized nations," Scarborough said. "This is an American phenomenon."

"It's not just about mental health. It's not about video games. it's not about any of the things the apologists for the gun lobby says it is," he said.

Scarborough said 90% of Americans support background checks, and then he battered the Republican Party for using their culture war nonsense to distract their viewers.

"They’d rather talk about the three trans athletes in Utah. Or they’d rather talk about the 0.003% of the population that’s driving them crazy," Scarborough said. "They’d rather talk about gas stove stoves; before they’d rather talk about Dr. Seuss. ”

“There’s just no other way to put it. It’s the Republican Party that is allowing this to continue to happen in America,” he stated.

“Let me say, as you look at those haunted faces; it is the Republican party. It is the Republican party that allows this gun culture to spread. We have mass shootings every single day, and all they say is ‘nothing we can do about it, now, NRA, give us more money.'”

Don't look at Michigan State, what about the Wuhan balloon filled with COVID23?

Students are being killed, but as long as Ted Cruz gets his NRA cash, he's fine with letting teenagers openly carry firearms with no licenses or training.

Show me the money, NRA!
