The problem with Donald Trump's defense of having classified documents at his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago, is, well, everything. If the one-term President had been cooperative, his fancy pants, gaudy resort would not have been raided by the F.B.I. It took well over a year before FBI agents finally retrieved the boxes of documents that were taken from the White House.
Still, Lumpy persisted.
"A double standard like not seen before, and we did everything right: Talking to NARA, a strongly built house with Security Cameras, locked doors (extra locks added at request), my Secuity, & Secret Service," he wrote. "Plus, I was President and had the right to Declassify and, as per the Presidential Records Act, we were talking to NARA, as we were supposed to do. Also, check out the Clinton Socks Case. I did NOTHING WRONG! Compare that to an open garage with NO SECURITY & papers moved from place to place!"
Following that bit of weirdness, Trump wrote:
We have more drug DEATHS than ever seen in our Country before, by far. Have run out of Morgue space. Body bags all over certain areas. Compare that to just TWO SHORT YEARS AGO!
I'm not sure what he's talking about, but when the one-term loser was in office, they had to turn refrigerated trucks into makeshift morgues, and food bank lines were backed up for miles.
Pizzagate fabulist Jack Posobiec wrote, "I don't know who needs to hear this but Republicans should put ballot drop boxes in the back of churches in every state where it's legal."
Trump agreed, writing in all caps, "BEST IDEA I’VE HEARD IN A LONG TIME…PUT THEM ALL OVER THE PLACE. RNC, EVERY REPUBLICAN, GET TO WORK ON THIS NOW!!!"
Suddenly ballot boxes are OK. Anyone should be able to see through the stunts Trump is trying to pull. I'm sure Special Counsel Jack Smith is fully versed on Trump's psychosis.
