Ari Melber and James Carville talked last night about Trump's legal problems.
"Bill Clinton was not perfect and many things, but a broad swath of the country, including independents at the time, felt the legal facts didn't match, and what you're saying here is if the legal facts pile up -- I always say if there is an indictment in New York, there will be a trial and Trump will be able to defend himself," Melber said.
"My last question for you, do you see DeSantis and these other folks stepping up and using this more, or dicey because it cuts both ways?
"You know, DeSantis proves the wisdom of Mike Tyson: Everybody got a plan until you hit them in the mouth," Carville said.
Then he delivered this dismissive kill shot.
"That guy, he doesn't know whether to wind his rear or scratch his watch. He tried to play in a league he can't play in, and that's pretty evident. He's a confused guy," he said.
"Trump hit him in the mouth, and he lost his plan. He just went totally off key. So my hat's off to Iron Mike."
