FOX Business host Maria Bartiromo was stunned.

Rep. Roger Marshall (R-KS) claimed Kevin McCarthy's debt ceiling hostage bill was so good that around 40 Democratic Senators would vote for it.

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities describes McCarthy using the debt ceiling to force harmful policies and deep cuts throughout the US economy.

But if you listen to House Republicans, it's awesome.

"This is a much more responsible budget," Marshall said. "Again, it's not perfect, but it does start raining in some of those wasted COVID dollars, work requirements."

"We don't touch Medicare. We don't touch Social Security. We don't touch veterans like we promised we wouldn't. So this is a good deal."

Republicans haven't specified where all the cuts would actually take place except for measures helping the very wealthy.

"If this would go on the Senate floor, I think it would pass," Marshall opined with no proof.

"You do?" a stunned Bartiromo asked.

"I do. I do think that it would pass," he said. "Not with 50 Democrats, but I think there would be 30 or 40 Democrats that would pass it and 20 or 30 Republicans that would vote for it," Marshall claimed.

"Wow," Maria replied.

Wow, indeed.

The most extreme MAGA Fox News host was stunned into silence by Marshall's ridiculous claims.

McCarthy's bill that is targeted to undo most of President Biden's agenda passed by Senate Democrats.

McCarthy's bill actually hides the actual Republican fiscal agenda since it's not even a budget bill and laughingly only applies to raising the debt ceiling for one year.

What is Marshall smoking?
