Former President Donald Trump lashed out on Truth Social after his attorneys failed to secure a court date that he thought was fair. Trump wanted the trial to be held in 2026, so that didn't go down well. U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan repeatedly requested that Trump's attorney propose a reasonable compromise.

Ultimately, Chutkan set a trial date for March 2024 over Trump's alleged efforts to block the peaceful transition of power after the 2020 presidential election. The trial is scheduled in the middle of the Republican presidential primaries and the day before Super Tuesday. Trump is not happy.

"Deranged Jack Smith & his team of Thugs, who were caught going to the White House just prior to Indicting the 45th President of the United States (an absolute No No!), have been working on this Witch Hunt for almost 3 years, but decided to bring it smack in the middle of Crooked Joe Biden's Political Opponent's campaign against him," Trump wrote.

"Election Interference!" he insisted. "Today a biased, Trump Hating Judge gave me only a two month extension, just what our corrupt government wanted, SUPER TUESDAY. I will APPEAL!"

I don't even know if you can appeal something like that or not [Ed: He can't]. He can possibly delay it.

"Page 2: How do you have an Indictment that is based almost entirely on the findings of the January 6th Unselect Committee of Marxists, Fascists, and Political Hacks, when these same lowlifes, who have been caught lying for years about Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, FISA, the Fake Dossier, & much more, purposely & Illegally DESTROYED & DELETED all of the Evidence, Findings, & Proof of the January 6th Committee?" he added. "When will Deranged Jack Smith Criminally Charge the Committee?"

Trump wants his investigators charged. Judge Chutkan urged his attorneys to compromise. There is a reason that Trump announced his run as early on as he did. This isn't election interference -- Trump is running to stay out of prison. He fucked around and found out.
