Former Rep. George Santos's brief, but boisterous time in Congress was inundated with lies, half-truths, and the insulting false telling of his mother being in the South Tower when it was struck on 9/11. There is almost no part in Santos's false life that wasn't offensive. The Long Island fabulist was even accused of stealing puppies. Santos lied about where he went to college and falsely claimed he worked for Citigroup and Goldman Sachs. Everything. About. Him. Is. A. Lie.

Still, he wants revenge for being expelled from Congress, and he's naming names. Anyone who would lie about the horrific attacks on 9/11 to prop up their political life should get the torches and pitchforks routine. Still, some Republicans thought he should stay in the House of Representatives.

Santos's last words on Friday after the vote were: "To hell with this place."

Santos spent his first hours as a former congressman posting on X to rage against his former colleagues and said he would file ethics complaints against four of them on Monday.

The Guardian reports:

By Friday evening, he was tweeting about his colleagues. He wrote on X that he would file an ethics complaint against three fellow Republicans from New York – Mike Lawler, Nicole Malliotakis and Nick LaLota – who had long pushed to oust him from Congress. He offered no proof of wrongdoing against any of the three.

He also wrote that he would file a complaint against Representative Rob Menendez, whose father, New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, has been criminally charged with acting as an unregistered foreign agent on behalf of Egypt. Santos, again, didn't offer specific accusations of wrongdoing.
Any person can file a complaint to the Office of Congressional Ethics, but that does not mean it will result in an investigation.

He also urged a Republican in Congress to have the "testicular fortitude" to move to expel Jamaal Bowman, a New York Democrat, who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and paid a fine for setting off a fire alarm in a congressional office building.

George can file complaints. He can kick and scream while yelling that life isn't fair, but he's still kicked out of Congress and has limited power. He looks like a weasel with a grudge. These were self-inflicted wounds, and so are the ones he's trying to lay on Republicans. Well, mostly Republicans. Who gives a shit, though? He's toast. And if anyone crossed legal lines, let's hold them all accountable. Enough with this shit.
