I remember that when this song came out in 1980, I was in high school. I felt so incredibly smart and cool because I was taking high school French and coutd accurately understand the words "Jeux sans frontiers." Fortunately, depending on how you look at it, I was a bit of a nerd and a loner, so I kept it to myself, thus sparing myself from confirming the nerd aspect.
