Nancy Mace got hit with a community note and a whole lot of fact-checking when she repeated the latest Republican lie that "crime had skyrocketed across our country."
Here's Mace's post on Xitter, lying about what's happened under the Biden administration.
This has been a constant drumbeat on the right, and it's not the first time one of them has looked like an idiot for pushing it, like Jesse Watters interviewing someone arrested for domestic abuse about all of the supposed "migrant crime" in America.
And as Chris Hayes pointed out earlier this month, there is no "migrant crime surge" and crime is actually down in the United States.
