I stumbled onto Raising Hope on Hulu and decided to watch an episode because Martha Plimpton was in it.

I was not disappointing.

Creator Gregory Thomas Garcia also developed My Name Is Earl

Jimmy Chance has a chance sexual encounter with serial killer and father's a baby and earns custody of his daughter Hope, after the mother is sentenced to death.

Garrett Dillahunt usually plays a heavy, but he's hysterical as Jimmy's father.

Add the great Cloris Leachman and Shannon Woodward and you have a can't miss cast.
