On Fox Business, Sen. Marsha Blackburn tried to smear Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, but confused political ideologies and doesn't understand what communism means except as a phrase she can mouth off about in an attempt to be clever.
She failed miserably.

What do you make of this rising competitive Senate race and the DSA?
BLACKBURN: Mike Rogers is running a great campaign.
These Democrat Socialist candidates are just crazy. And people in Michigan know that. They know these proposals are crazy.
They know that in 1776, the battle cry was the British are coming.
They know that in 2026, the battle cry is the Communists are coming, and the people are standing against this.
A new poll released today by Emerson College shows El-Sayed with a 2-point lead on Mike Rogers, so Michigan people are behind El-Sayed.
The Democratic nominee is not a communist, but to Blackburn, anything to the left of white Christian nationalism is evil! She can only spew MAGA talking points whenever someone tries to have a coherent conversation.
Since Trump and his policies are so unpopular, Mike Rogers has nothing to campaign on, so he mostly smears El-Sayed.
As a rebuttal to her stupidity, we could say, "The blue wave is coming, the blue wave is coming!"
