As noted below, Chad Garner has a history of violence and uttering threats. "Don't be a Chad and attack people for zero reason" is good advice. "The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree," and all that.
A million-dollar lawsuit has now been launched in response to the lack of bodycam footage being released. Cedartown (population 10,514) has a major problem on its hands.

CEDARTOWN, Ga. — Conflict erupted during a rally for the slain miniature donkey HeeHaw in Cedartown on Friday.
The altercation comes on the same day the lawyer of HeeHaw’s owner announced a demand for $1 million from Cedartown and filed a lawsuit against Trenton Ryan Garner, the officer who shot the donkey.
Channel 2 Action News earlier told you about the death of the donkey, killed in a pasture along Grady Road in Polk County while police were searching for a missing 12-year-old girl.
Video from Eye On Cherokee, a local news media outlet, shows a man confront and break a microphone belonging to one of its reporters, Sal Insinga, at the rally for HeeHaw.
Eye On Cherokee told Channel 2 Action News their reporter was interviewing people gathered at the rally “when a group of counter protestors were yelling and carrying on.”
When Insinga went over to get a statement, he was attacked, the news media outlet said.
The video shows a man break the microphone and throw part of it at the reporter.
The video above is by Eye on Cherokee.
An Eye on Cherokee reporter was attacked by Chad Garner, a family member of Deputy Garner that shot and killed hee-haw. Everyone around the white truck are also a family member.
Chad was later arrested for his actions.
