Republican New York City Councilwomen Vickie Paladino and Joann Ariola are leading a racist and slanderous charge against Mayor Mamdani to try and force him not to show up at the 9-11 memorial.

Mamdani's only crimes are that he's not a Republican and he doesn't believe in their approved religion.

ARIOLA: He doesn't understand that the people standing behind me and the 101,000 people who signed the petition feel that he is as much against them as those terrorists were on the day they lost their loved ones.

So Mayor Mamdani, for once, listen to your constituents and not your influencers and stay away from an event, a ceremonial commemoration of the lives that were lost on 9-11.

Describing The Mayor as a terrorist who sympathizes with those who committed the Word Trade Center atrocities and hates all 9/11 families goes beyond unconscionable.

It's hideous. Obscene.

Using the tragedy as a political weapon is almost as disgusting as Trump claiming he was pulled from the rubble during 9/11.

These disgusting individuals are careful to parse their words in such a way that it would be very hard to prove in court for the Mayor to sue them for slander, but they are, in fact, slandering him.
