Was 'Oppenheimer' Better Than 'The Odyssey?'

I've always been a huge fan of Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan, who is an excellent writer and showrunner in his own right.

Person of Interest is one of my favorite television shows that Jonathan created.

I saw Oppenheimer in 2023, before my car accident, and I liked it, but I hadn't started studying basic physics and cosmology until rehab from my broken kneecap.

Since then, I have a basic understanding of Newtonian physics, General Relativity, and Quantum mechanics.

I went to see The Odyssey a week after it came out and really enjoyed it.

Samantha Morton's "Circe" was a highlight for me.

However, I rewatched Oppenheimer, which won seven Oscars on Saturday, and being armed with a little more knowledge on the topics discussed, I had a much more emotional response to the film, the trials, the science, and to Robert Downey's electrifying portrayal of Lewis Strauss.

I predict The Odyssey will win many Academy Awards come next March, and deservedly so.

But I still preferred Oppenheimer overall.
